Gdańsk University of Technology for the first time in the Shanghai Ranking

Gdańsk University of Technology was included in the prestigious Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), also known as the Shanghai Ranking, for the first time. Eight Polish universities are among the top 1000 universities from around the world.

Each year, ARWU classifies over 2000 universities and publishes a list of over 1000 of the best ones.

 

GUT receives financing for the implementation of the project ‘Innovation Incubator 4.0’

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the ranking list of 32 applications that qualified for funding under the ‘Innovation Incubator 4.0’ program. This edition of the program will be implemented by the Center for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at GUT in a consortium with the special purpose vehicle Excento.

The main goal of the program is to support the management of the results of research and development work, mainly in the field of commercialization. One of the conditions for applying for funding was to be active in the commercialization of the results of research and development work and to initiate cooperation between the scientific community and the business environment.

University administration units

University administration is divided into units subordinate to the rector, vice-rectors and the chancellor.

The assignments of individual administration units result from the competences of individual representatives of university authorities, which are specified in the Organisational Regulations of Gdańsk University of Technology (ZR 38/2019).
