The Gdańsk Tech MegaMocni (Megamind) facility was established for the children of employees, PhD students and students of Gdańsk University of Technology, but by decision of the university's Rector, prof. Krzysztof Wilde, this year the youngest can be registered by all members of the academic community of Fahrenheit Universities, including MUG and UG.

On this occasion, we would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all academic teachers and employees of Gdańsk University of Technology who support the educational process at our University for their daily effort and we wish you all further teaching and scientific successes and undying enthusiasm in sharing knowledge. We also wish students and doctoral students, because this is a special day for them as well, the curiosity to explore the world, develop their scientific passions, and strengthen academic bonds and traditions.

The twelve seminar of the Advanced Materials Center will be held on October 17th at 1:00 pm in Auditorium 1 of WETI A (Building 41). R.J. Cava, Department of Chemistry and Materials Science Princeton University, Princeton New Jersey, USA will give a lecture entitled "Potential materials for quantum applications". After the seminar pizza will be served.

Gdańsk Tech Library and the Institute of Applied Mathematics (Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics) invite everybody interested to take part in the new edition of our mysterious field game, this time called: "Gdańsk Tech and the Order of the Twisted Oak".

The “PhD Open” day of the Doctoral School will be held at Gdańsk University of Technology on 13 October. The event, organized by the Gdańsk Tech Doctoral Students' Self-Government, is divided into two parts. One is addressed to candidates for doctoral school, the other to doctoral students.

We would like to inform you that 1st-year PhD students can collect decision on appointment of the supervisor  from the Doctoral School Office. Please come during office hours.

Under the Program, it is possible to obtain funding intended to cover part of the costs of developing new or improving the attractiveness of existing research services provided by the Gdansk University of Technology. 

On these days, we will accept students during office hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We also welcome students who are not registered in the queue system (registered students have priority).

We would like to remind you that in order to receive a scholarship from October, you must submit at least an incomplete application by October 16 inclusive. Applications can also be submitted to the drop box located in the Bratniak building, on the ground floor, next to the reception desk.
