Appeals against the SH decision (stage II)

The decision from the 1st stage of the allocation of places may be appealed to the Appeal Scholarship Committee by June 15, 2025. The procedure for submitting appeals is the same as for submitting applications, i.e. between 12 and 15 June, 2025, you must complete the application only via the electronic form available on your individual student account on the Moja PG portal in the Scholarships module. You do not need to print the application or bring it anywhere.

"Head to head" exchanges

On June 13, 2025 and June 26, 2025, from 10.00 to 13.00, there will be a duty change of places allocated in Student Houses "person per person". If you have received a place in DS that does not satisfy you, you should find a person willing to exchange and send an appropriate e-mail on your own.

EUA-CDE 2025 Annual Meeting: Gdańsk Tech at the Forefront of Doctoral Education in Europe

Prof. Maciej Bagiński, Deputy Director of the Doctoral School for Internationalisation and Development, and Ms. Marta Gurczyńska, Head of the Doctoral School Office, represented Gdańsk University of Technology at the 2025 EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) Annual Meeting, held from 4-6 June at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.

This year’s meeting was particularly meaningful, as it marked 20 years since the introduction of the Salzburg Principles - a transformative framework that redefined doctoral education across Europe. These principles, first published in 2005 and updated in 2010, helped shape a vision of the doctorate as research-embedded, institutionally supported, and responsive to the evolving needs of society.

Out of more than 350 applications, only 30 individuals were awarded, including just 5 doctoral students. The competition recognizes not only excellent academic performance, but also engagement in artistic, sports, and social activities – both within and outside the university. The award is a one-time financial grant of PLN 2000.

    Mr. Łukasz is scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He began his PhD training in the 2022/2023 academic year in the discipline of environmental engineering, mining and energy [IŚGiE], under the supervision of dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Boczkaj.

Intensive Training Programme for ENHANCE Communication Officers: Building a Common ENHANCE Identity

As part of Task no. 9 of the project "Enhancing the Potential of Gdańsk Tech within the ENHANCE Alliance" , Gdańsk University of Technology is hosting an intensive training programme for ENHANCE Alliance Communication Officers. The training focuses on key areas of professional responsibility and includes five core modules:

🔹 social media and digital marketing
🔹 intercultural communication
🔹 content creation and storytelling

I’m excited to invite you to our next Let’s Meet. Pomerania event – this time we'll talk about jumpstarting your career. Emigration Museum in Gdynia will be our host for this day of sharing cultures, knowledge and experiences. Apart from the main exhibition, which is focused on history of Polish emigration, the museum operates daily by connecting all newcomers, helping them and animating multicultural communities.
