Mindfulness classes – sign up

Gdańsk Tech International Relations Office invites students and employees to sign up for mindfulness classes organized as part of the "Hey, are you OK?" project. Applications are accepted until March 31. The number of places is limited - don't miss it!

How to sign up?

Registration for mindfulness classes for the English-speaking group will last from 13 to 31 March. To sign up for classes, you need to fill out a short online form (the number of places is limited).

Workshops on mediation for support staff - sign up

mediation for staff
The International Relations Office invites support staff to sign up for mediation workshops organized as part of the "Hey, are you OK?" project. Applications are accepted until April 7. The number of places is limited. Workshops will be run in Polish only. 

About the workshops

The mediation workshop will be conducted by Magdalena Grabarczyk-Bródka from Gdańsk Mediation Centre. During the classes we will talk about what mediation is, what are its rules, who is a mediator and about the how and when to use mediation (also in situations taking place at the university).
 

How to sign up?

Registration for mediation workshops will last from March 13 to April 7. To sign up for classes, you need to fill out a short online form (the number of places is limited).

Scholarships for the new students - apply now

Second-degree international students who started their studies at Gdańsk Tech on a tuition fee payment basis in February 2023, may apply for a scholarship for outstanding academic achievement. Applications can be submitted until March 17, the results will be announced on March 29.

Applications for scholarships may be submitted by foreigners newly enrolled for II cycle studies on a tuition fee payment basis, according to Annexe to the Rector's Circular Letter No. 63/2020 of 10 December 2020. 

The best three master students will receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of PLN 1250. The scholarship may be extended to the next academic year only after passing all the exams in due time. 

Partnership Agreement with Taipei Tech

On 2 March, Gdańsk University of Technology had the honor to host a delegation from the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) – one of the leading technical universities of world renown. The representatives of the Taiwanese university were its President - Prof Sea-Fue Wang, Vice President – Distinguished Prof Thomas Chung-Kuang Yang, Dean of the Research and Development Office – Distinguished Prof Ho-Chiao Chuang, Ph.D. (ME), and Dean of the Office of International Affairs – Prof Tun Wen Pai. 

During the meeting with Gdańks Tech authorities - Rector Prof Krzysztof Wilde, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research Prof Sławomir Milewski, and Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Innovation Prof Janusz Nieznański, the universities entered the Joint Research Protocol of Academic Collaboration agreement that paves the way toward joint research grants in materials engineering, environmental protection, eco-energy and eco-construction, electrical engineering, mechatronics, information technology, medical technolog

Partnership Agreement with Tajpei Tech

On Thursday, March 2, we held a meeting with the representatives of National Tajpei University of Technology in the Senate Hall, during which a research partnership agreement was signed.

National Tajpei University of Technology was founded in 1912 and is one of the lead public universities in Taiwan, educating 13 thousand students at 19 faculties. The University is also a strong center of cooperation of science with the industry and business – 10% of the chief executive officers and board members employed in companies in Taiwan are graduates of Tajpei Tech, and the university supports 25 new star-ups each year.
