Meeting of the authorities of the city and of Fahrenheit Universities
On Tuesday, 26 March 2024, the College of the Mayor of Gdańsk was held at Gdańsk University of Technology, during which the Rector of Gdańsk University of Technology presented the current activities and needs of the Fahrenheit Universities to the city authorities. The Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz, and her deputies also learned about the effects of the student competition "Railway to the South", co-organized by the Fahrenheit Universities and the Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway.
The College of the Mayor of Gdańsk is a weekly meeting of Mayor Aleksandra Dulkiewicz with her deputies and officials representing individual departments of the City Hall in Gdańsk. It aims at undertaking current activities and interventions in the everyday functioning of the city, as well as accepting reports on larger projects, e.g. infrastructure.

The use of color centers in nanodiamonds - profile of the Doctoral School graduate
Maciej Głowacki - graduate of the Doctoral School at Gdańsk University of Technology, scientifically affiliated with the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, began his training in the a.y. 2019/2020, under the supervision of prof. dr hab. inż. Robert Bogdanowicz from the Department of Metrology and Optoelectronics. The auxiliary supervisor was Mateusz Ficek, PhD, Eng.
The 19th Seminar of Advanced Materials Center
The nineteenth seminar of the Advanced Materials Center will be held on April 10th at 2:15 pm in NE Aud. 2 (Building 42).
Prof. Gunther Wittstock, Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg, School of Mathematics and Science, Institute of Chemistry (Oldenburg, Germany), will give a lecture entitled "Application of Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy (SECM) to Energy Research" (2:15-3:00 p.m.).
The 18th Seminar of Advanced Materials Center
The eighteenth seminar of the Advanced Materials Center will be held on April 9th at 1:15 pm in EA Aud. 2 (Building 41). Dr. Małgorzata Grażyna Makowska, Paul Scherrer Institut (Switzerland), will give a lecture entitled "Multimodal synchrotron studies at the microXAS 2.0: combining multiple chemical and physical imaging techniques for comprehensive insight into dynamic systems.". After the seminar pizza will be served.
