Settlement of the 5th and 6th year, for PhD students with an extended deadline for the submission of their dissertation, is linked to the submission of:  

  • Report on scientific research progress since the last extension at the Doctoral School 

Transferring, obtaining signatures of decision makers, and approving documents at the Doctoral School is conducted in the MojaPG system -> Student -> eDocuments.

From Gdańsk to Cambridge. Research that can help develop disease therapies

Krzysztof Kamil Bojarski, PhD, from the Department of Physical Chemistry at the Faculty of Chemistry of Gdańsk University of Technology, as a laureate of the Bekker Scholarship Program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, will carry out a research project at the University of Cambridge in cooperation with the group of Prof. David Wales, known for groundbreaking research in the field of computational chemistry. His work may contribute to the development of new therapies for diseases such as cancer, osteoporosis, or rheumatoid arthritis.

As part of the Bekker Scholarship, Krzysztof Bojarski, PhD, will receive funding for the implementation of the project "Towards a better understanding of the role of glycosaminoglycans in regulating the enzymatic activity of cathepsins", which is a continuation of his previous research in projects from the PRELUDIUM and SONATINA programs of the National Science Center.

Settlement of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years is related to the submission of: 

  • the Annual report on research progress / PhD training at Doctoral School – all PhD students, 
  • the Questionnaire for assessing the progress of the PhD student's scientific work (after the 2nd year) - only in the case of 2nd-year PhD students.

Transferring, obtaining signatures of decision makers, and approving documents at the Doctoral School is conducted in the MojaPG system -> Student -> eDocuments.

Settlement of the first year is related to the submission of the Individual Research Proposal (IRP), the Annual report on research progress / PhD training at Doctoral School and the Questionnaire for assessing the progress of the PhD student's scientific work (after the 2nd semester).

Please be informed that PhD students who began their training in a. y. 2024/2025 (1st-year PhD students), must complete the Semestral Report on the course of research work / training at the Doctoral School referring to their 1st semester of training.
