The funds awarded under the ninth edition of the program constitute scholarships for particularly gifted students, based on their achievements at the previous educational stage, starting full-time second-cycle studies at Gdansk University of Technology from the summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Science Beyond Prestige: On Values, Ethics, and Research Responsibility

How is science evolving? What challenges are researchers currently facing? Why should prestige and rankings not be the primary objectives for the academic community? These and many other issues related to research integrity and responsibility were discussed during the conference organized by the Office of the Ombudsperson for Academic Rights and Values.

The conference took place on 24 April at Gdańsk University of Technology and was addressed to academic staff involved in scientific research and the protection of intellectual values. University authorities also participated in the event.

Anna Banaś, PhD at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, specializes in dynamic measurements of bridges and footbridges—focusing on both ambient and forced vibrations. Her current research centers on the development and implementation of algorithms for structural identification based on vibration data. Additionally, her interests include modeling the phenomenon of Human–Structure Interaction (HSI). These research activities captured the attention of Prof.

Doctoral School at Gdańsk Tech at the ENHANCE VP Research Group Meeting in Milan

On March 20-21 this year, representatives from Gdańsk Tech participated in the ENHANCE VP Research Group Meeting which was hosted by Politecnico di Milano. This meeting marked an important step in strengthening research collaboration within the ENHANCE Alliance, following the conclusion of the ENHANCERIA project (SwafS, Horizon) last September.
