- Rzeczniczki Praw i Wartości Akademickich, która pomaga w rozwiązywaniu konfliktów, prowadzi mediacje i wspiera osoby doświadczające trudności we wspólnocie akademickiej;
- Rzecznika Praw Studenta, który udziela pomocy w sprawach dotyczących praw studentów i studentek;

You have the right to study in a safe and respectful environment
Studying is a time for gaining knowledge, developing your interests, and building new relationships. At times, however, difficult situations may arise, such as conflicts with fellow students, misunderstandings with lecturers, inappropriate treatment, or behaviour that causes concern.
Remember: you do not have to deal with such situations on your own. At Gdańsk University of Technology, there are people and support services available to help you.
If you experience a problem or witness a concerning situation, a good first step is to speak with the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, who can help assess the situation and suggest possible solutions.
You can also seek support from:
- Academic Ombudsperson, who helps resolve conflicts, conducts mediation, and supports members of the academic community facing difficulties;
- Student Ombudsperson, who provides assistance in matters related to students’ rights;
- Faculty Student Council, which represents students’ interests and can help identify the most appropriate course of action.
If a situation may involve a violation of university regulations or standards, formal procedures are also available, including disciplinary proceedings and procedures concerning discrimination and other forms of inappropriate behaviour.
If you need psychological support, you can take advantage of free psychological consultations offered by the Office for Persons with Functional Diversity (BORF). Consultations are available to all students and doctoral researchers, both in person and online, including in English. More information: [link].
You can make a difference
You do not have to be directly affected by a situation in order to take action. If you notice discrimination, verbal abuse, exclusion, or other inappropriate behaviour, you can speak with one of the support services and learn how best to help.
You are not alone. It is also worth talking to people you trust, such as fellow students, members of the student community, or university staff. Student organisations and academic societies can also provide valuable support.
The nature of the learning environment at Gdańsk University of Technology depends on all of us. Treating others with respect, responding to inappropriate behaviour, and supporting one another help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming academic community.
More information about available forms of support, contact persons, and procedures can be found on the intranet website of the Academic Ombudsperson: https://pgedupl.sharepoint.com/sites/BPWA-intranet/.
